Another Observation

I was just now showing the sequence of photos to my wife. It seemed to her that Bush's hair is uncombed. I believe she is correct. This, in combination with the weird dazed look on his face, suggests a man on a serious bender, or someone who (for whatever reason) is not in control of his actions.

One More Word about the Masseur-in-Chief

I’ve noticed that a few Bush apologists, as well as foreign writers attempting to understand the incident , are asserting that Bush’s impromptu massage of the German chancellor was a cultural misunderstanding—that is, they are saying the massage was a “Texan” thing to do.

I am a Texan. I am the real thing, not a phony Texan such as Bush. I am a fifth generation Texan who has lived in this state all my life—that’s over half a century—and in all that time it has never entered my head to walk up behind someone and surprise them with a free shoulder massage. I certainly wouldn’t do it to a woman who is not my wife. And I don’t see other people doing it either. It is not a Texan thing to do. It is a creepy thing to do. At best, it indicates poor breeding; at worst, a personality problem.

Bush: It's Time for an Intervention

We didn’t need more evidence that George W. Bush is an incompetent, mentally disturbed freak, but we got it anyway. Look at what happened at the G8 Summit …

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is conversing with the Italian prime minister. A dull-eyed, expressionless Bush wanders into the room.

Without warning, Bush enters Merkel's personal space. The guy in the background watches with concern.

Bush lays his hands on the woman. What’s he going to do? Strangle her?!?

No! He’s massaging her! And with that weird, dazed look of his.

Merkel grimaces and shrugs him off.

Bush walks away, as if nothing happened. Merkel watches him nervously. My god, what will the man do next?

Over the past several years, we have seen Bush mangle sentences, commit gaffes, make inappropriate comments, declare his desire to be dictator, flip the bird at reporters, and at times do things that are just weird, like kiss bald men on the head. But, for sheer creepiness, this episode tops them all. It is head-shakingly, jaw-droppingly awful.

Clearly, Bush has deep-seated mental problems. I think it is time for an intervention.
